Eyes, on fireHeld in a ball of thorns
Tears, a river
Flowing thick they adorn
Vision obscured, Sleep disturbed. When will the red pain leave me be.
And the answer is in 9 days! Today will be day 9 of my bilateral conjunctivitis. I started on a course of chloramphenicol, then tetracycline ointment, then amoxycillin b.p. tablets, then more chloramphenicol eye drops. What was truly the thing at work was in fact my very own immune system trying its best to churn out suitable antibodies that could eradicate the sinister virus lurking at my conjunctiva and other small secret places. Many a time had I woke to a world much blurred as my eyes were encrusted in a sticky, scratchy pus like goo that sealed my eyelids shut.
And I know many friends have not been exactly happy with my much extended Medical Leave. My partner in work, Ky jelly had to fly solo for quite a few days in my absence. It is definitely no fun, flying in work-filled skies that were dark and gloomy. But I will be back on the working track on Monday and he will be off to his leave and huney bunny<3.
And my future is still in the making, with me throwing in a few hundred bucks for stacks of paper that can be crafted into airplanes that I will sit on and fly away to yonder. Yonder may not be what I think it'd be though
